The Astrology of November 2025: Bygones Be Bygones

The Grand Water Trine which set up in October is in full effect throughout November, as the 'secret siphon' keeps on pumping portions of reality between the last fifteen-twenty year episode of our lives into the next fifteen-twenty year sequence which we already initiated over the spring and summer and now just needs form to flow and following the futuristic flash. Stand by as this transfer may take a minute. At least that’s what the sign says, but in reality (which is a tenuous term these days; proceed with caution) the levy done broke and there’s no reversing the tides. Indeed, after a dramatic to say the least plethora of watery trines, oppositions, and conjunctions which include a Scorpio New Moon combined with a Mercury cazimi, Saturn stations direct in Pisces late November and will make it back to Aries as early as February, where he already began his fiery new projects earlier in 2025. When planets perform their direct stations it’s as if everything which will occur in the chronology up until their next retrograde station is already pre-loaded into the plot and is essentially bound to play out, like gradually letting the story off its furler (for Saturn this will be all the way to 14 degrees Aries on July 26th 2026).

The month begins with Venus making her final aspects from rulership in Libra, where she is most adept at handling the balance of the general equilibrium, serving up the most refined aesthetics and beautiful affairs. She opposes Chiron at the same time she squares Jupiter, sending a cardinal sign chord ringing out for us to all initiate new things. Jupiter is bringing in opportunities for an increase in fulfillment, nourishment, psychological health, living well and even getting some swallows off the cornucopia, but the coherence of abundance and lack spectrums this reveals sends some clashing signals with a Venus who would like to set everything up as fair play; it’s just not. Some parties are feasting while other’s are starving: just ask the planets transiting Scorpio, they’re well aware of the disparity, and sneaking around back to get their piece one way or another.

This all contends with Chiron in Aries, limping its way through the later degrees of the Ram’s sign, where autonomy, independence, direct action and capable performance have been wounded since 2018 and are closing in on the necessary healing. This probably coincides on the world level in part with social justice narratives and cancel culture dynamics which rendered everyone accountable for even things which were in temporary vogue or hardly made sense even in the moment, causing a lot of beating around the bush to ensue. It may be that the digital/virtual peak was five years ago already and like cathedral building, no programming stacks will ever be viable to build so large and elaborately ever again. One result is we learn to show up and attempt to "kick ass" in real physical space all over again, having to brush the dust off our old competition helmets as we prime move forward out of relative stasis more and more. Venus’ desire to make everyone happy and have everything ringing in accord is challenged by this fact, that some people are going to win and others lose the competition, and not only that, the winners probably scored less than the losers; the game is rigged and it doesn’t favor the best performance , but rather selects places based on some other convoluted social order, just ask corrupt Pluto in collectivist Aquarius.

But her trine by sign to the outer planets disrupting Air signs is coming to a close for now, as she enters the guttural regions of visceral Scorpio on the 6th. Her last motion in Libra though is on the 5th, where she governs over the Full Moon in Taurus, bringing lightness, refinement, grace and symmetry to the material weight and grounding of Taurus at full climax. That is, amidst running with the narrative contentions we discussed above, and in a Taurus about to be disrupted one last time by Uranus beginning on November 8th. There could be a bit of a never "quite ready but happening anyway"—"too much of a good thing" problem—"irregular rhythm is the equilibrium in oscillation" thing playing out here, i.e. somewhere between beginners luck and sounding loose, weird and good, enough finesse, brilliantly fumbled through and not overly polished forming a pleasing and lush aesthetic composition. Kind of like accidental syncopation and natural musical invention— but something of substance, and a solid plan for the moment despite all the scrambling factors.

Luckily now there’s fire entering the equation, which is going to be nice to warm up the place and add energy to the vibe after so much excess yin painfully slowing our emotional digestion and rendering us overly sensitive or empathically conductive or down-right lovecraftian. Mars here sees the future, sees all the unknowns and pioneering precipice shadows and sights beyond them towards blown open potentials yet to be imagined. This is kind of Fool card on steroids, but being fed a steady supply of oysters, mushrooms and other good brain-food, so some Voyage of Bran and Salmon of Knowledge grease to suck off your thumb to the tune of divine epiphany in a widely corrupt moment in post-history.

Right about the time Uranus returns to Taurus, topping off the Fixed-Earth Frankenstein project which began in May of 2018, both Mercury and Jupiter turn retrograde in tandem. This is quite a lot of “hold up” insisting, due to some real or rational minded considerations, we contemplate where we are in our progressions as well as investigate where this train is even taking us in the first place. Hey, what's the itinerary? Is the galley well stocked enough to take this critical voyage? And by that I don’t mean just enough rations but is the cuisine exciting enough to keep us marching along with a spring in our step? Maybe this sounds more like drugs than food to some people, and maybe it is, or is leading up to being, or maybe you are high on life, or high on health, as in feeling so good from not being hung over or strung out, while simultaneously being more intoxicated than ever, drowning with nostalgia, in the deep end of overwhelm, binging on the comfort food version of hope, which I guess is inflated sentimentality— there’s a lot all seemingly flowing through the gateway at once in such a way that we have to say, ok, it is what it is. I’m not surprised that showed up and I’m not surprised that melted down or drifted away, but goddamit, I’m heading where I’m heading, even if that’s more into the mouth of instinct initiated mystery than anywhere specific.

But the specificity is somewhere, even if its not in the absolute destination, it might be in the essence of the mission itself. Like a mercenary, a gun for hire, who likes fighting in zealous holy wars when he’s gigging as a soldier, rather than mere, petty political battles. The soul plays a part in all this, and if it doesn’t for you then take a look around, you might of misplaced yours. I’m being sarcastic, really this is a "your soul is slapping you in the face until you're numb" kind of moment, so its probably very loud but not necessarily crystal clear, more of a copious soul-blare, but with considerable nuance and telling flavor. Despite the Shakespearean level of emotionality right now, there is a kind of “well, I think you already know how you feel, what you want, whether to be or not to be etc.” even though half of us will be wildly leaping off cliffs and the other half hesitating and getting bowled over by the new circumstances landing on top of them somewhat suddenly. Really depends on which part of the story you pay attention to: are you always trying to figure out the characters motives and essentially who dunnit or are you into the costumes and sets and fabulous locations you get to escape to? Are you here to engage or zone out? In Astrological terms, do you like to start shit, prevent things from changing or not realize you are unwillingly a scattering agent here to confuse everyone into meltdowns where eventually things can no longer be how they used to be?

For a blow by blow at a daily pace look below as usual. With the outer planets all moving slow or currently stationing it’s a lot of the same aspects in turn and repeating amongst our personal faculties largely all felt more than thought, some being in the emotional register and others being where we are roused, feel motivated, enthusiastic, excited or turned on. The notable New Moon in Scorpio falls upon the 20th, and initiates in the contemplative darkness of eternal insatiability some subjective cycle seedings amongst particular overturned depth layers revealing clues, cryptic remembrances, secret body language cues, and other animal instinct impulses which modulate and emerge from our obsessions, fixations or primal programming. As this is well within the orb of the Grand Water trine, which so thoroughly describes the mood of both the end and the beginning intermingling and what must be done about it at the level of crisis and catharsis, we survive by this very injection of vampire blood serum into the oncoming future which cracks like a whip around the corner of this winter.

It’ll be something different for everyone, this is intensely personal territory which has been dredged up after either being allowed to sit stagnant for far too long or having been externally prevented from moving on and flushing out by the last few years slow and sloppy circumstances. In many cases the head spun while the body was stuck in place, the heart got bruised from lack of authenticity and the liver inflamed from the life-car’s multiple stall outs. As we all now know, some got rich from digital feudalism in the meanwhile, an altogether new class of charlatans and advantage takers, while many are left wondering why there’s no space to go anymore on the societal game board; that was intentional. The next phase in the spring and onward runs on a lot of not-giving-a-flying-fuck-anymore and just simply getting on with it-- but November 2025 is more to the tune of still majorly giving a fuck yet having to kick up the muck to get out of the rut anyway and in the process some messy or seemingly unfortunate splashing ensues, with some 'one persons trash is another’s treasure' luckily being encoded in the swap.

We are not losing anything here, we’re actually doing nature’s business when nature calls, but nature doesn’t conform to anthropocentric status quo morals, so, as long as you are ready to understand that the animal-body-soul and the energy that animates it just is what it is and wants what it wants then you’ll be ok, and actually able to enrich yourself beyond what you previously have been capable of while in the saving face and keeping the peace positioning. Here’s where the going with the flow includes some algae blooms, pond flips, accidental spills, rapids and intimidating waterfalls, but with future-forward helmets on and a readiness to let bygones be bygones we’ll be sitting around the campfire strumming songs about it come next spring, all just phantasmagoric water and primordial slop under the proverbial bridge.

For now consider that dance, visual art and music, or more simply image, motion, touch and sound might make more sense these days than words or information, and with that said, also consider that multiple not normally paranoid people have expressed to me over the past several weeks that they feel they are being remotely influenced or conditioned in some way, usually toward illness or cognitive impairment, and suspect intentional electronic radiation of some kind. People want out of the pool on a large scale, and in our personal existences we are likely turned prune in more than a couple intermingling baths that have run long over due.
